Add-ons your merchants can use
Add-ons are optional extras a merchant can turn on top of its plan. They are listed with their price and status on each merchant's Integrations page.
What is available
- Point of sale. A register in a browser or on a tablet, with cashiers, drawer shifts, tips, a cash discount and pay-by-QR.
- E-signature. Documents sent for signature, and signed payment authorizations before a schedule is approved.
- Accounting and CRM connections. QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Salesforce.
- Store connections. BigCommerce and WooCommerce.
- Text messages to customers who agreed to them, and short links for those texts, QR codes and receipts.
The add-ons directory shows what is on offer right now and what each costs.
Driving them from your software
Once a merchant has connected an integration, you can drive it from the API: connection status, sync now, and disconnect, for QuickBooks, Salesforce, BigCommerce and WooCommerce. Each integration is an add-on and must be active for that merchant, otherwise the call does nothing and says why. Connecting QuickBooks, QuickBooks Desktop, Salesforce or BigCommerce needs a person to sign in on the other service, so the connection itself is made in the Portal. See the developer guide for the endpoints.
When you cover the merchant
Under the Enterprise program, a covered merchant needs your approval before a paid add-on starts, because you will be billed for it. Those requests wait under Add-on requests.
