Your plan, usage and billing

The Billing page shows your PayMidWare subscription, your limits, your card on file and your billing history. The Usage page shows how much you have used this billing period.

Your plan and usage

Your plan includes an amount of usage. Usage beyond what is included is charged as overage on your next bill. The plan you are on and its prices are shown on the Billing page, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. Invoices and scheduled payments can also have limits on your plan. The limits and how many you have used are shown in Invoice and scheduled payment limits.

Subscribing and changing plan

On the Billing page, choose Subscribe if you do not have a plan yet, or Change plan to move to another one. Where a plan can be billed monthly or annually, the page shows both options so you can compare them. Your charges are taken from the card on file shown on the same page. Keep it current to avoid a failed charge, which you can see in Billing history.

Updating your card on file

The card on the Billing page is used for your PayMidWare subscription, not for your customers' payments. To change it, open Billing, find Card on file and enter the new card. The next bill uses it. If a bill could not be charged, update the card and then check Billing history to confirm the next attempt succeeded.

When your provider bills you

Some providers join PayMidWare's Enterprise program and take over their merchants' PayMidWare billing. When yours has, the Billing page shows Billed by and your provider's name.

  • Covered. Your provider pays PayMidWare for your plan, add-ons and usage. You pay PayMidWare nothing and no card is charged on that page. A paid add-on needs your provider's approval before it starts, and the page lists the ones waiting.
  • Resold. PayMidWare bills your card at the price your provider set. Your plan price on the page is that price.

Card processing fees from your payment gateway are separate and are not part of this. Questions about what you are charged are best taken to your provider, since they set the price. If your provider stops covering you, you move back to standard PayMidWare billing from your next billing date. Nothing already billed changes.
